The Public Relations Society of America - Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, established this annual award in memory of Dorothy Thomas Black, former director of public relations at St. Luke's Hospital and a chapter president and leader who died in 1982. The award recognizes sustained, superior performance in public relations and sound application of the highest principles of the profession as well as community service. It typically rewards the lifetime achievement of a public relations professional chapter member. "I am honored that my professional peers selected me for this award. It is the BIGGEST.
